2003 SILVER BIRCH AWARDS

All students in grades 4 through 6 at Orchard Park participate in this program.  The classroom teacher administers the program as part of the language curriculum.   Many of our students read all 10 titles.

The school purchases 5 copies each of the Silver Birch titles.  Many of our students try to read all 10 selections so that they are able to make very informed decisions when they vote.  As parents, you may wish to purchase a book for a Christmas present or put some of the titles on hold at the public library.  Happy Reading!
